SAMEER AHMAD
TESTIMONIALS:A talented artist and a very serious student who does things with his best effort. A great
human who makes things easy, beautiful and attractive and does the most unexpected
things with his unparallel caliber. Way to go Sameer. All the best for your life and career

“Kabira speaking”…. The voice crackling frm the other end belongs to a gentleman
(hope u wont mind) called Sameer. And believe me this voice has the power to make a
million smile rather laugh.. The most Charismatic, artistic, stylish and Pokemonic guy of
our batch…. One who has been spreading the fragrance of laughter with his chirpy taangkhinchaayi throughout the days. Thank God he was a day scholar.. not because he
wouldn’t ve been a good hosteller… but it would ve meant that me and Sandy would ve
never gotta taste 165 and 62 and the Switzerland (people unknowingly call that place
something like Bye-pass). A dedicatedly helping guy who has never said “NO” to anyone
in need.. He has been a darling of the class with his Poems and posts (some of which
were stupid however). He has given me so much affection which is hard to forget. Just
wish ki kaash mera naam bhi Sa-------- kuch kuch hota so that v’d ve enjoyed even more
moments together in the Labs, tuts and vivas.. After all a friend in need is a friend
indeed!!! Many Sundays and many weekdays we have met at the ITO.. to start on our
trekking (of Chandni Chowk, Book fair and whatever..). I can proudly say I got two
things from DCE, Sameer as a friend and EIL.. (Thank God no one was thinking of a BE
degree here!!). Just be as u r my dear and keep bringing happiness to everyone u meet…
ABHISHEK
Kabira is the most 'quick' guy of our class, I always felt he could have been a better
architect.(though he is a good engineer)
KARAN
Long shoulder-strap bag, cartoons, Eminem, FRIENDS, Andaaz Apna Apna, Hera Pheri,
Weird Beards
Mix all this up and you get a new species - Scientific Name: Kabira speaking, Common
Name: Sameer, Kabira.
"Chal ek baar revise karte hain, STARTING se!!" This what he'll say minutes before the
exam, in the library. The minute he walks into a group, I know we are going to be
laughing pretty soon. He can lighten up any kind of mood. We're the best of friends and I
hope it can stay like that forever. K..k..k..k..k..Kabira!!
SANDIP
Iske baare mein kya likhu?? iske saath 1 incident hua wo bataa hun- spidy asked sameer
tere zindgi mein koi ladki hai? sameer replied koi aake to dikhaye..... rest of the thing abt
him u can understand.
RAVINDER
The first thing that one notices about Sameer is his fashion sense which always tests the
boundaries. He knows inexhaustible ways of styling facial hair. :)
Then comes the smile. Earlier, I used to think that it was a normal smile- the type people
give you when they are happy. However, I realized that the smile is always there and I
thought that it was a fake smile. But as I got to know this guy better, I found that he
smiles only when he is happy, and he is always happy!!! We kidnapped him on the (very
early) morning of his HPCL medical and took him to eat at Haveli, Karnal. The drive was
long, the place was closed, the food was pathetic… but a tired sleep deprived Sameer was
smiling!
I love his spirit! The way he accepts things is truly inspiring.
It is due to his overtly assiduous nature that I call him "duniya ka sab se bada khufiya!" In
our final semester (when attendance was the last thing on people's mind) he used to come
all the way from home only for Alok Verma's class on Wednesdays. The class seldom
happened, but Sameer was there every Wednesday, sharp at noon!
My education has flourished under the aegis of this all compassionate God of Civil Engg.
(though he will disagree, I will let the marks do the talking :)) On the eve of the exam, it
is always a desperate me calling a Sameer who has finished his course and is watching
Friends. That is the call that usually saves my life. And I am not even getting into the
class assignments, practical files, etc. And not to mention the project! :)
Thanks man for everything!
I see that this testimonial has turned into an essay, but I assure you this is just the tip of
the iceberg. I could go on about his witty written compositions, his terrible taste in music,
etc. but to converse paper, I will stop here.
ROHIT
Talented guy. Hard-working student. 3rd year ki summer training mein humne bade maze
